Salaams and Hello Readers
It has been more than a months I have been sitting on this design. It is an inspiration from the Helen Eriksson design from her popular book Ribbon Rennaisance. I bought the applique lace from Jakarta and glue it to the fabric and hand stitch the lace edging to secured it on the fabric. I'm afraid that it might peel of later if the owner hand wash it.
It is not easy to make 3 same design in a same stitching arrangement as it is a handmade. However I try my best to make it exactly the same. Patience is needed during the ribbon dyeing process as a lot of trial and error process has taken place before I concluded the desired colors. The design may look simple but not the colors selection which really make me scratch my head most of the time *wink*.
I have done the first 3 pillow and more to come. I cannot stitch fast lately as I am having a numbness fingers problem esp my right hand. Family members suggested me to go to Tung Shin Hospital Chinese Medical services for acupuncture treatment as it has benefits some of them. Well, I play with needles most of the time and sometimes it does hit my fingers *wink*, it should not be a problem with me, right *wink*. I am giving some consideration *smile*.
Till next entry, to those who is fasting the in month of syawal, selamat berpuasa. Take care, hug and kisses from me :-)
