Misleading...

What a waste of time !. When Sara showed me a coupon about a introductory seminar on m@m@ry workshop, which she obtained from her school teacher, I just said yes to her and make arrangement to send her to the stated venue together with her friends. After sending her, I then proceed to my next destination--Sungai Buloh Nursery. About half way driving, I received smsed from her stated that "ibu, kalau parents tak datang sekali, tak boleh masuk"

Whaaat (emergency brake !) its quite far for me to make a u-turn and grrrrrr..@#$%$@*&**^%. I don't see any single words in the coupon stated that parents attendance is compulsory or whatsoever words that stressed about it. This is truly misleading and I am very mad with this kind of company.

According to Sara, quite a number of participant who came with their friends went home empty handed..sib baik Suria KLCC dekat ..hiksss..but still la kan..menyusahkan je dorang nie.


Sara, no need to waste your time and my time with this kind of people, just read the book which I bought for you many years ago and it's a good book.

Bookmark with Overlapping Chain

This is my 2nd attempt to tat this boomark. On my first attempt, I realized that I had made a mistake (dang!..besar taw kesalahan tu) which left me with one choice (to throw it) after I had almost completed the 2nd row..(uwaaaa...it's daunting).

Well..what have I done?. Poor me, I mean my brain *wink*. I had ignored the instruction NOT TO JOIN the ring (I'm not thinking straight..hiks)...aha!..because if you joined it, you cannot do the overlapping..(erks!).

I need a break, my mind has been crowded with all kind of news, long to do lists at office and home, worrying about somebody's health *sigh*. Anyone wants to join me for an ice cream sundae?..which flavors do you like? chocolate? Neopolitan? Rocky Road ?Butter Pecan or Vanilla...Me?..I want them all *LOL*.

Tag - Mother and Doter

Cantikkan si Eustoma nie?. Me beli kat auntie florist - Pudu Wet Market. Bila me tanya bunga apa nie, dia sebut "Estoma"..bila me suh dia eja..dia gelak je..hehehe. Bunga nie ada tiga warna - pink, purple dan putih. Tapi me paling suka pink sebab lembut je kaler dia kan..pastu bunga dia kembang gitu. Harga dia boleh tahan jugak..mahal dari setangkai bunga ros tapi murah sikit dari si Diva Tiger Lily tu. Eustoma nie mcm akak carnation tu jugak, kalau letak dalam vase, taruk air sikit je so that dia tahan lama. Sesekali, kalau me bosan2 ngan bunga2 plastik kat rumah tu, me tukar jugak dengan fresh flower..part of my stress therapy.

I grew up on his music and I can associate moments of my teenager days with his songs. Even DD’s also loves his music where they learn about it from the most influential entertaiment site – You Tube !. My condolences to his entire family. He is the greatest entertainer of all time.

Ermm rasa cam dah pernah answer this tag..tapi takpe, thanks so much to ruby for the thots to extend this tag to akak yer. Fyi, I have known ruby for quite sometimes thru wmc, and we shared the same interest i.e pinggan mangkuk *wink*. Since, ruby started her folk art, she is very serious in it and showed a good progress and I hope that she will success with her new hobby.

Tea for Two

Eventually after many moons, these two lovely pieces of teacup xstitches has been sewn into a cushion cover. Takes me ages to sew it because of the frills - main reason for me to procrastinate *sigh*. One frill for one pillow will take up many hours for me to do it *LOL* - while watching my favourite tv programe at night. It is quite tedious job for me -- who just one step ahead than beginner in sewing..*wink*.

I am comfortable with envelope style finishing and this time, I am using wood button at the back of the cushion. Amy, I knew that you also stitched this piece and would love to see your progress *grin*.

Tatted Fan Bookmark

DH has been asked me to tat him few pieces of bookmark for his textbook *wink* and this is my 2nd tatted bookmark which DH named as Kipas Udang (mana pulak mcm lambang kipas kat botol kicap tu kan..hiks). Above pattern is available here. I had picked this design because it is simple and faster to complete but I found it quite small for his text book.

Hurmm..maybe I should add paper clip so that he can just slip it at the page that he wants to mark. More bookmark is on the way and I am drooling to tat a flower scmr bookmark by Jane Eborall. Wish me luck to explore this new technique.

Cottage Garden Series by Royal Albert

As requested by Eva, sorry dear, I took so long to upload the photo for you. Here is my personal collectible plate collection. I have a set of cottage garden year series produced in 1984 and a pair of secret garden series produced in 1993. All of these items are bought one piece at one time from ebay UK. I never have a chance to win the bid when the seller listed the plates in set of 2 or 4..*sigh* because most bidders will look for a set so that they can save shipping cost for combine items.

It took me approximately 2 years in completing the set of cottage garden series as I have to patiently wait for a reasonable offer price and shipping cost. Enough of plates, I guess ..*sigh* as I don’t have available space for new addition..*wink*.

In My Mailbox Today

Ngeeeeee…I am smiling. Thanks to kak reen (muahssss) for her kind help in getting me the Varie Manuela and Solid Flora thread all the way from the lion city. Withdrawal syndrome had changed my mood to stashing mode..oppsss it’s not good for my purse *sigh*..have to caution myself..*wink*

One the same day too, I had received few lovely decorative tin from Mel and I loves them all. This three stacked round tin has been used to safely keep all my tatting thread. DD, once saw this tin, had asked me if there is any cookies inside it ..*LOL*. Moi will get ya all a nice danish butter cookies, later.
