Coffee and Cuddles

Absolutely gorgeous feline cat by Margaret Sherry. It's such a cute and adorable design thus, I want to keep it !..*wink*. However, promise is a promise and I made this for Yaya's close friend as her birthday gift. I was supposed to finished it by 17 August, but I can't finish it on time due to my usual excuse ~ bee zee~ *LOL*. I sewn it as a small pillow with red tassel at each corner of the pillow. The pillow size is about 8 x 4 inch.

The actual design has four mischievous kitten, but I decided to do only three. Stitched on Aida 14ct and using the DMC thread. This is the design that I highly recommended to stitch if you have the CrossSticher Mags Issue 198 (P/S: Many thanks to Ain). You wont regret it !.

Arum Lily

Wallaaa..finished this simple Arum Lily RE pattern while watching the Olympics Badminton final qualifying between Chong Wei vs Lee Hyun Ill. Congrats Chong Wei. We hope that you will beat the "Super Dan" for a gold medal even though based on the previous meeting record, Chong Wei only won four games out of twelve with Lin Dan.

Back to my thread keeper, I am using a linen gingham for the fabric and Offray ribbon for the RE. I bought this small piece linen from Linda (stitching rambles) quite sometimes ago. I already bought the ring for this thread keeper but it went missing or misplaced to be exact. Hurmmm...this is what happen whenever I asked DD's to do house keeping..*wink*.."Yaya!..please find my ring or I will not bring ya all to the Disney High School Musical concert this coming monday !" . Happy School Holiday !

Purple Strawberry Emery

Everytime when I frequented Anita's website, I always admire her lovely strawberry emery collections. I am happy when one of her design has been featured in the TGOS Magazine for July Issue. For this design, I am using 18 ct Aida and Carrie Thread. It is simple and easy to assemble. Anita has included beads in this design and made it looks more elegant.

Heart Entwined

This project is not in my schedule. *sigh*..but TERbuat pulak..huhuhu..simply cannot resist this beautiful design by Gail Bussi from the Just Cross Stitch magazine February 2008 issue. I have been admiring finished items done by sis Ros and sis Yasmin on specialty stitches. This design have few simple specialty stitches which I can try on. Pinkeep Exchange - 2007

Hello All

I am glad that my partner - Index had received a Pinkeep that I stitched for her before she moves to Kelantan for good. Hope she likes it and will be able to online once everything is settle down. Thanks to my MissFedex@Musliha for ByHand delivery. This Bee Pinkeep charts is from TGOS stitched on 28ct lugana using a Carrie Thread.

This is a Pretty Cottage Pinkeep that I received from my partner Sis Ros. Thanks sis, I love the cottage chart that you had stitched for me and also for the DMC Variation.

This is my first Mattress Pincushion. I am not really happy with the result. Still need to improve on the finishing. It’s quite difficult for me to join the border with top and bottom pieces. I have to carefully count the thread with my old eyes since I am stitching on Lugana which I am not familiar and good at..(I am ardent fan of Aida)..LOL. Anyway I am glad that I managed to finished it..*smile*

Finally, this one year old UFO turns to a Finished Object..Yay !. An ornament – Rossie Tussie Mussie for XSnXC PO treasure chest. Hope the recipient will like it.

Made to Order

My lil customers had placed a special order from me to stitch something for their Teacher's Day. I knew that I cannot give an excuse even though both of my hands are already occupied with office and house works. They have been complaining that I always stitch something nice for my frens and now my turn to stitch something for them..*sigh*..

I decided to stitch a simple design so that I can make a few gifts for each of them as they want at least two stitching gifts..*wink*. I do enjoy stitching a small patterns especially stitching it on linen or evenweave where I can also practice on these two fabrics which is new to me.

I had finised it into a sachet and a simple card. Hopefully their teachers will like it. Happy Belated Teacher's Day as their celebration at their school has been postponed to this week to give way for their semester examination last week.

Mother's Day Gift Exchange

Walla!..finally the treasure box is almost ready to be mailed out. In addition to the stash, I am stitching a small gifts for Angel in Labuan. I should have completed it last week but I had to put in on hold because of my sore eyes. It is a small box which I bought from the nearby local book shop. I wish I can make one handmade box but I dont have much time and knowledge in producing one..LOL..so I decided to buy it and..no..no..no..Angel, please don't think about someone..when you are looking at the signature printed on this box..*wink..wink*

Today, I had received a new member in my gifts basket. Its a pumpkin pinchusion from Mus in Penang. Thank you mus, it's a wonderful gifts for mother's day. We are admiring the beauty of the pumpkin pincushion..We?..yes..me and the 3 girls. *wink*.

Tie-On-Pillow

I have stitched a pattern from the Joan Elliot - sentiments and saying book for a DD best friend birthday. I thot that the pattern that we choose is simple and will take a shorter time to stitch. However, I was wrong *wink* It was quite tiresome for me to stitch on the18 ct Aida Rustico that has a colored background and flecks. It makes me confuse and miscounting the boxes. One hour of stitching will end up with another hour of frogging *LOL*. I should have a proper lighting if I want to stitch on Aida Rustico next time *smile*.

Initially, I was unsure about the finishing. We were thinking either to make a card or framed it. However when I was browsing the net, I had found this link: focus on finishing that gives me another idea on the finishing.

I had sought a help from my brother on the sewing part, because I’m not good in sewing. Finally it’s done and we hope that she will likes is. Happy Belated Birthday, NF.

An update on PE

I had received this lovely PE from my partner. Thank you, Sis Huda for stitching me the beautiful pendibule.

Pendibule Exchange - 2007

It's done and it is quite big. I have made about 21/2 x 2 inch pendibule on 100 x 100 boxes of aida 18ct. Initially I want to stitch about 70 x 70 boxes but it looks small to me. Hurm..I do hope that size does not matter to my dear friend..boleh na?..*wink*

Latest Exchange 2007 – Pendibule Romance of flowers

This ornament look simple, adorable and easy to stitch. But, not for a first timer like me. I’m having a hard time to find a diagonal pattern and when I tried to stitch the non diagonal pattern, it is difficult for me to adjust the pattern to the center of the pendibule. I had a headache because I had to do a lot of frogging and to ease the tension, I had a nice supper of porridge at the nearby restaurant..hurmmm...this will makes me heavier..LOL

Then I give up and try to find another pattern. Finally I found it from the Cross Stich Collection 2007 magazine. This in-progress pendibule is for my lovely sister in Penang. Hope that she will like it.
